The 3rd edition of All India Computer Society Student Congress happened at the Yashada, Pune during 13-14th December 2014 organized by IEEE Pune Section. The event provided some amazing experiences!
Pre AICSSC – The photocontest
The AICSSC fever attacked us even before the event! There was a photo contest announced by the organizers and we are the first one to provide an entry for the same. Surprisingly, we have won the contest and received free tickets to the Congress!

The ‘Mumbai Mail’ #MAStoPUNE
Myself along with my friend Vinod, travelled all the way from Chennai to Pune for around 24 hours to attend the event. The journey was memorable as we came across different people from different states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Expectations went higher as we landed in Pune during 12th Midnight!
Networking with Friends
We got an opportunity to meet volunteers from different Sections like Gujarat, Bombay, Pune and Kerala in the event. Had a nice time networking with them and interacting IEEE stuffs! In fact, I got an opportunity to meet the India SAC Communique newsletter Team Lead Mr. Nithin, and had an offline meeting with him regarding the next edition works

Day 1 – AICSSC
The first day of the Congress involved mostly technical sessions on various topics like Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and mostly computing technologies. Also, we have got a golden chance to meet IEEE CS President Mr. Tom Conte, Executive Director Ms. Angela Burgess. The interaction was really good!

After the end of the day, we had a small hangout with friends at CCD with loads of fun!

Day 2 – AICSSC
The day 2 commenced with inauguration with dignitaries IEEE CS R10 Coordinator Mr. Andre Obeler, MDC Chair Mr. Aditya Rao, MGAB Vice-Chair Mr. Satish Babu, RSAC Chair Mr. Rajesh Ingle. Many informative sessions on trending technologies, hate speech on social media provided us a lot of learning! We are so glad as Mr. Prasanth joined us on the day also presented a talk on the significance of Volunteering without expectations!

IEEEmadC Stall
We have successfully set up a stall for IEEEmadC at the Day 2 of the Congress. The stall attracted most number of participants who are enthusiastic about Mobile Application Development in India! It was a definitely a dream come true as we are doing much preparations before the congress. Happiness is hearing the words ‘Good job!’ from your mentor 🙂

Day 3 – Exploring Pune!

On the third day, myself and Vinod explored the Pune city with Prasanth anna and Nithin Chetta! We went to few amazing places and enjoyed the different culture, people and the weather.
First Flight experience #PNQtoMAA
During the return journey I experienced my first flight experience travelling from Pune to Chennai in SpiceJet. Get to know the procedures before and after the journey by Prasanth anna! Enjoyed each and every moment like a child! Happy to get a window seat 😛 Dream come true 😀
